May you rest in peace

He is my dad's eldest brother. He had been blind for decades. He didn't get married, and he had loved us, his nephews and nieces, as his own children. He lived with us since we were not born, and moved out to live with my grandma when I was at junior high school. My grandma passed away in 1998, and he moved back to our home. But he was quite a difficult man to handle, so he started quarreling with my dad, and moved back to his previous house. He had been living alone since then. My dad or mom visited him once or twice daily to deliver his meal. And later on he moved back to live with my parents when they moved to other city.
I remembered when I got married and was about to move to Jakarta, he told me that I must stay healthy, and if I was not happy with my marriage life, just came back home. And if my parents didn't want me to came back, I could just go to him. I know that it's not a good advice, to ask me to go back home after getting married, but that was a sweet thinking for an old man like him.
The last thing I could do for him was attending his funeral, sending him my prayer, wishing him a better after-life, accompanied by his dearest mom, my grandma.
Good bye my dearest uncle.
